PMO’s ‘Dirty Tricks’: Congress Hits Back At BJP Over Rahul’s London Trip

New Delhi, June 24: The Congress on Tuesday hit back at the BJP after it questioned Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi travelling to United Kingdom, saying the Prime Minister’s Office is as usual upto its dirty tricks and knows nothing else.

The fiery response from Congress came moments after BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi for his travel to an undisclosed location and questioned what is so compelling that keeps him away from the country so often.

In a post on X, Malviya said, “Rahul Gandhi was on a secret foreign holiday just last week. Now, he has flown abroad again — to yet another undisclosed location.”

“Why these frequent disappearances? What is so compelling that keeps him away from the country so often? As the Leader of the Opposition, he owes the people of India answers,” Malviya said.

Meanwhile, responding to the BJP leader’s jibe at Rahul Gandhi, Pawan Khera, who is also the chairman of the Media and Publicity department hit back at him and said that the PMO is as usual upto its dirty tricks.

Khera took to X and wrote, “The PMO is, as usual, up to its dirty tricks. It knows nothing else.”

The Congress leader disclosed the location of travel of Gandhi scion and said, “Rahul Gandhi has gone to London to attend the graduation ceremony of his niece and will be back shortly.”

According to Congress sources, Rahul Gandhi traveled to London on Tuesday morning.

Earlier, on June 11, Rahul Gandhi has visited abroad and returned to India on his birthday June 19.

After returning k India, he had gone to Sir Gangaram Hospital where his mother and CPP chairperson Sonia Gandhi was admitted for over five days after she complained of stomach issues.

He returned from Hospital with his mother and then attended the party workers and leaders at old party headquarters here, who had come to greet him on his birthday.
