
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu cleared the Japanese architectural plans for Amaravati on Saturday and the buildings will be completed by December 2018. A jury headed by Prof Christopher Benjamin has selected the design submitted by Maki and Associates from among three designs. The others were Richard Roger from the UK and B.V. Doshi from India.
Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has seen the selected design plans by Maki and Associates and has congratulated the Japanese firm.
